Happy Mother's Day

I know I am once again abusing my posting priveleges on this blog, but I think I speak for a lot of people in saying this...
While we are celebrating our own wives, moms, mother-in-laws, grandmas and great-grandmas today, I for one have certainly been thinking of you Jen, and hoping that today is a quiet day at home with your three little boys taking care of you, one bear hug after another.
Rock on. Love, Jon, and a hundred other people

Thanks for the post Jon! Certainly well put & truly echoed from each of us.
Love, one of the hundred other people, Always, Ame & Matt
John, you said so much for so many. We hope the day was special for Jen. Another treasure to keep in your heart.
So another thought has walked with me today, and although I'd like to call Jen and talk with her, I fear I would once again be calling and interrupting bed-time.. an aunt ame infamous move, so instead, I type.
I am not yet a parent, but as this Mother's day presented itself, I've thought of the many lessons I've learned from jen & joe that I will hope to emulate someday in my family life.
Today I thought of the new word that Isaiah has learned from them. Freedom. Freedom from doctors, hospitals, and the thought of the next visit always in the back of the mind. This message holds a value to him that none of us, I'm sure, can fully comprehend.
So once again, thank you for a spelling lesson.. that although the short word 'love' seems to be spelled with an L, you've shown us how deep a word it really is, and I'll always spell the word jjj&i.
we rejoice with you in the peace, smiles and laughter each day may bring and always try to walk with you through all the emotions that come.
What a great post Ame. I also think everyone has thought of Jen today and silently wished her a happy mother's day. For the lessons we've all learned, we thank you.

Happy Mother's day Jen! I hope you had a wonderful day with the boys.

I've been thinking of you today Jen and our conversations years ago at ame's bachelorette camp trip.
I connected with you as another mother and cherished your words and insights ever since.
I hope you all had a peaceful day today and many more to come:)
Amen to Jon and to Ame. Happy mother's day to an inspiring mother. Believe me Jen, you're in the pantheon of mothers I have been meditating on as I embark on the journey inward and outward. Much love, Alic
My thoughts and prayers are with you all and I have a poem that I would like to share with you..
Praise You In This Storm"
I was sure by now
That You would have reached down
And wiped our tears away
Stepped in and saved the day
But once again, I say "Amen", and it's still raining
As the thunder rolls
I barely hear Your whisper through the rain
"I'm with you"
And as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise the God who gives
And takes away
I'll praise You in this storm
And I will lift my hands
For You are who You are
No matter where I am
Every tear I've cried
You hold in Your hand
You never left my side
And though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm
I remember when
I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry
You raised me up again
My strength is almost gone
How can I carry on
If I can't find You
As the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain
"I'm with you"
And as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise the God who gives
And takes away
I lift my eyes unto the hills
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord
The Maker of Heaven and Earth
Warm thoughts of you all on Mother's Day.
