the great white north

joey and i are getting ready to head back to chicago, and we're hoping for some improvement from the treacherous road conditions we saw yesterday.... sometimes it seems like there's a storm cloud over us--there's not much snow in the midwest except for this little stretch of road we need to drive on this morning.

things are relatively quiet at children's memorial. not much happens on the weekend, so we didn't gain (or lose) any ground.

We pray for you safety as you head back to Chicago with Joey. Stay safe and hopefully this storm cloud along with all the others will pass soon!

Day by day we walk beside you on this journey! We watch the persistent snow - feel the frigid temperature that chills the bones. At the same time, we are warmed by each positive sign we read about. We constantly pray that the hurdles will become fewer and fewer and the path to healing will chug into the station as surely as Thomas gathers Emily, Norton, and all of Isaiah's special pals over the final hill of this episode. We love you! GGV
